A body of infrastructure work rather than a single product: advanced reverse-proxy configuration across more than 50 sites and more than 10 different CMS and server environment types, followed by teaching the Japan-based team to do the configuration themselves.

The problem
Sites were spread across many different CMS platforms and server environments, each needing its own reverse-proxy treatment. Concentrating that knowledge in one engineer is a bottleneck, wherever that engineer sits.
What I delivered
- Configured advanced reverse proxies across more than 50 sites.
- Worked across more than 10 CMS and server environment types, on Nginx and Apache with PHP, WordPress and several Japanese CMS platforms.
- Supported the Japan-based team through the work and taught them to perform the configuration themselves.
Outcome
Sites were configured across diverse environments, and the team was able to continue the work without me.
